Academic Freedom and Democracy

UiO's Honorary Doctor Sjur Bergan has been a driving force home in on over 30 years, contributing start work to help us preferable understand the interplay between theoretical freedom and the conditions vital for viable democratic societies. Nowadays, this interplay is more elder than ever.
